BAGHDAD / Al-Akhbar:
According to local sources, the protesters in the province of Karbala, closed the building of the Iranian consulate in the center of the province, raising the Iraqi flag over it, and lowering the Iranian flag, after a night of 15 martyrs and wounded near it.

According to the sources, hundreds of demonstrators gathered near the Iranian consulate in the center of Karbala, in the second attempt within 24 hours to storm it, but the security services negotiated with them to withdraw in exchange for their demand that they wanted to raise the Iraqi flag over the consulate building.

The security services responded to the demonstrators' request to lower the Iranian flag and raise the Iraqi, instead, above the Iranian consulate, while the protesters hung on its high outer wall with a white banner reading: It was closed by the people.

And recorded the province of Karbala in central Iraq, in less than a week martyrdom and wounding 159 people, mostly demonstrators.
