Prime Minister Adel Abdul Mahdi said the government is seeking to increase job opportunities and attract investment.
"Iraq is keen to establish the best relations with the United States and with its Arab and regional environment," Abdul-Mahdi said during a meeting with the US House of Representatives delegation headed by Democratic Representative in Washington and Chairman of the Armed Services Committee Adam Smith.
