The "National Approach" bloc on Saturday announced an initiative to resolve the political crisis in the country and meet the demands of the demonstrators.

A statement issued by the bloc today, that after the mass demonstrations and mass protests witnessed in the Iraqi street, which robbed the legitimacy of the institutions elected by him and formed by them demand the following measures:

1. The dissolution of the parliament and the consequent dismissal of the government within a period not exceeding thirty days and the preparation of new elections.

2. A fair election law shall be enacted during the mentioned period ending the domination of the dominant political forces by adopting the supreme votes system to achieve a realistic representation of the will of the people without mediating the wishes and will of the current political forces.

3. A new Election Commission shall be formed during the period mentioned above by forming a body of university professors with competence related to the work and administration of the elections, electing the members of the Commission and with the assistance of civil society organizations and the United Nations Mission in Iraq.

4. Constitutional amendments are made by the new parliament and involve elites, academics and representatives of various segments of society.

5. Restricting weapons to the state and paying attention to building professional and impartial armed forces that are brought up on a national doctrine and blocking attempts to weaken the armed forces.

6. Commitment of the security forces and demonstrators keen care to preserve the Iraqi blood and make it the most important goals and the most sacred duties and non-complacency in the accountability of those beyond this national constant, whatever the title and belonging.

7. Submitting the final accounts for the past seven years to enable the supervisory authorities to disclose the fate of the money spent in those years, identify the areas of waste and corruption in public funds and bring the perpetrators to justice, and take legal action regarding the violations committed in the accounts of the previous years legally and judicially,

8. Reconsidering the officials of the supervisory bodies in the ministries and institutions of the state so that the supervisory bodies are truly independent of the executive authority and nominated by civil society organizations and political associations not participating in the government, thus ensuring the independence of these supervisory bodies in the performance of their role in the accountability of officials and audit their work and fight corruption.

9. Distribute the national wealth fairly to the Iraqis according to the population ratio of each governorate away from excessive political dealings and rights of citizens.

10. The formation of the Council of Elders and Experts is working to develop strategic solutions to the crises and accumulated problems and oversees the management of the transitional phase does not interfere with the current political forces formed.

11. Amend the parties law to require the administration and democratic work in its formations and organizations and that the term of the party's presidency does not last for more than four years to ensure compliance with the requirements of the political stage.

12. Preparing a unified salary scale law to end the gross disparities between the salaries of senior officials in the state, including presidencies, ministers, deputies, special grades and the rest of the state employees, and transferring the salary cuts to provide job opportunities for graduates and the unemployed.

13. Unifying the administration and mechanisms of collecting revenues from border ports and customs, and handing all their revenues to the public treasury of the State and redistributing and spending them within the state budget.

14. Review the licensing rounds of oil, which accounted for the costs and entitlements of foreign companies operating 16% of Iraq's total oil revenues in one of the most depleting steps of the national economy.
