In accordance with the Iraqi democratic system and their rights guaranteed by the Constitution to freedom of expression "without prejudice to public order and morals."

The statement added that "commenting on the reactions issued by foreign parties regarding the current situation in Iraq, the Iraqi government calls on all parties to the need to adhere to the principle of respect for sovereignty, and non-interference in Iraqi internal affairs."

The Ministry stressed "on the statement of the religious authority on Friday, November 1, which affirms that" respect for the will of Iraqis to determine the political and administrative system of their country through the holding of a referendum on the Constitution, and periodic elections to the House of Representatives, and stresses that The necessary reform is entrusted to the choice of the Iraqi people in all its shades and colors from the extreme country to the extreme, and no person, group, or orientation, or any regional or international party to confiscate the will of the Iraqis and impose their opinion on them.

And rejected the religious authority Ali al-Sistani, the intervention of regional or international parties on the Iraqi issue or the confiscation of the will of Iraqis.

"Respecting the will of the Iraqis to determine the political and administrative system of their country through the referendum on the constitution and the periodic elections to the House of Representatives is the principle that the religious authority has committed to and emphasized since the change of the previous regime," Sistani said in a statement.

He added, "Today confirms that reform is an imperative necessity - as has been talked about more than once - but the necessary reform and must be carried out in this regard is also entrusted to the selection of the Iraqi people in all its spectrums and colors from the country to the extreme, and not to any person or A group or a party with a certain orientation or any regional or international party to confiscate the will of the Iraqis and impose their opinion on them. "

"We appeal to all parties to reflect on the present and future of Iraq," he said.
