Baghdad / News

Rafidain Bank announced that the total amount of money paid to its branches spread in Baghdad and the provinces during the past three days amounted to about 2 trillion dinars in addition to what is in the treasuries of its branches of financial balances.

"These amounts were distributed as salaries to employees, retirees and owners of private outlets," the bank's media office said in a statement received by Al-Akhbariya.

The statement denied reports that there was insufficient liquidity in the branches of the bank, pointing out that "the bank continues to feed all its branches and in accordance with timetables in force previously."
