Al-Rafidain Bank announced that the total amount of money paid to its branches spread in Baghdad and the provinces during the past three days amounted to about two trillion dinars in addition to what is in the treasuries of its branches of financial balances.

"These sums were distributed as salaries to employees, retirees and owners of private outlets," the bank's media office said in a statement received by Euphrates News.

The statement denied "the news that talked about the lack of sufficient liquidity in the branches of the bank," noting that "the bank continues to feed all its branches and according to timetables in force previously."
