Canada affirms its serious desire to enter the Iraqi market

The head of the Canadian mission to Iraq, Catherine Porto, revealed her country's serious desire to enter the Iraqi market.
This came during a meeting with Trade Minister Mohammed Hashim Al-Ani, on Wednesday, Porto.
According to a ministry statement, received {Euphrates News} a copy of it, that during the meeting discussed ways to develop joint economic relations and the strengthening of the ties of cooperation between the two countries. "

He added that" the Ministry of Commerce is ready to open up to the world and in implementation of the government program and the aspirations of the new government in cooperation with the countries wishing to enter the Iraqi market through exhibitions, forums and Conferences Which will be held in Baghdad. "
For her part, the head of the Canadian mission "her country's serious desire to enter the Iraqi market and get investment opportunities through the participation of its companies, investors and businessmen to invest in all economic and trade and other fields that contribute to building and strengthening the bonds of cooperation and bilateral partnerships between the two countries."
She pointed out that "Iraq has become an attractive areas for investment, especially after the stability of the security situation and the end of the war on terrorist organizations."
Canada is the world's eighth largest economy, one of the world's richest countries and a member of the Organization for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) Group of Eight (G-8).
