The Third Iraqi-Chinese Economic Cooperation Forum started in Beijing this morning in the presence of Prime Minister Adel Abdul-Mahdi and members of the official delegation of conservatives and a large gathering of Chinese businessmen, businessmen and investors.

The Prime Minister described the forum as a very important event because of its positive impact on the present and future relations between the two countries and peoples.

The Prime Minister said in his speech at the forum: We have been keen to be accompanied by the largest number of members of the executive authority, and the presence of ministers and governors gives seriousness to the delegation to go to contracts and business directly, praising the acceleration of economic growth in China, which aspires to Iraq to take advantage of its capabilities And establish the best relations with them in all fields, and congratulated by the 70th anniversary of the founding of the Republic of China.

The Prime Minister reviewed the developments and reforms witnessed in the investment environment in Iraq and achieve security and stability after the defeat of ISIS. On the establishment of the Council of reconstruction, which is responsible for high-cost projects, in addition to travel and accommodation facilities that were impeding work.

He stressed that Iraq is the fourth source of oil in the world and help in this development is the contribution of Chinese companies to invest in the most important oil fields.

The Prime Minister announced the Memorandums of Understanding and the eight agreements to be signed in Beijing today, topped by a framework agreement for financial credit spending, a memorandum of understanding for economic reconstruction and others in the fields of economic, cultural and technical cooperation, in addition to contracts signed by ministers and governors, and the development of infrastructure for transportation, communications, housing, energy and sewage. And others.

During the forum, workshops were held for the ministries of oil and electricity, construction and housing, industry, transport and communications, in which the ministers of finance, oil, defense, interior, electricity, construction, industry, transport and communications talked about the objectives of their ministries and the job opportunities available to Chinese companies in various sectors. The Chinese companies, the conditions and priorities of the ministries' projects and the potentials of the Chinese companies and joint committees formed to follow up the completion of the projects and agreements with the Chinese side. The Conservatives held talks with the owners of Chinese companies and agreements on signing contracts in various sectors.
