The Minister of Agriculture pledged on Wednesday to work to create a suitable atmosphere for veterinarians and to include them in the 2020 budget.

The Minister of Agriculture Saleh al-Hassani said in a statement received by the Economy News that he received at the ministry headquarters this morning a veterinarian syndicate in Iraq and a number of veterinarians in Tahrir Square to review their requests and comments and develop appropriate solutions for veterinary work in order to develop the wealth sector. And animal advancement. "

He added that "the Ministry has completed the law of veterinary graduation and submitted to the Council of State and then to the Council of Ministers, for approval."

Al-Hassani explained that "the ministry adopted doctors who hold higher degrees and employ them according to law 59, as well as the adoption of graduates of the first and second students to find job opportunities for them in accordance with law 67 and by 15%."

Al-Hassani stressed that "the ministry will work to include veterinarians in the state budget for 2020 and the allocation of functional grades to appoint them and strengthen cooperation between the ministry and the union to meet the requests and observations of veterinarians to preserve livestock and attention to this vital sector and support for the national economy."

Al-Hassani pointed out that "the approval of the higher authorities regarding the establishment of associations of veterinarians and the granting of land to them after lifting by the local administrations of each province."

Dozens of veterinarians staged a demonstration in Tahrir Square in central Baghdad on Friday, September 13, demanding the central appointment and obtain their rights.
