BAGHDAD / Al-Akhbar:
MP Mohammed Shiaa al-Sudani warned that there are serious indicators in the financial situation of Iraq in 2020, which reflects negatively on the economy.

In a statement received by the Sudanese news agency, Al-Sudani stressed the need to focus on legislating laws that support the non-rentier state and increase the activity of the economic side by activating the industrial, agricultural, commercial and tourism sectors. "In light of fluctuating oil prices and the possibility of alternative sources of energy."

Al-Sudani pointed out to the importance of activating the supervisory role of the internal audit and oversight departments, the bodies of the financial control bureau and the concerned departments in the ministries to prevent the spread of corruption in many institutions.

He pointed out that "a committee to follow up government actions came after recommendations to take the necessary measures to preserve the sovereignty of Iraq consists of heads of parliamentary blocs and representatives of each of the committees (security and defense - foreign relations - legal)."

He explained that "his committee recommended the formation of a committee to discuss the file of missing and absentees and the return of displaced people, consisting of heads of parliamentary blocs and representatives of each of the committees (legal - immigration and displaced / security and defense - human rights)."

He added that "giving the following legislation priority and proceed in the next sessions cancel the offices of inspectors general and the first amendment to the Integrity Act and the Civil Service Law and the Health Insurance Law and the law on partnership with the private sector and the Federal Court Law.
