Oil signed a contract to improve gasoline refinery in Kirkuk

The Ministry of Oil signed on Tuesday a contract with Barham to improve gasoline in Kirkuk refinery with a capacity of 12 thousand barrels per day, indicating that the project will increase production of high-octane gasoline fuel, which will reduce its import.
The Oil Minister Thamer Ghadhban said in a statement seen by the "economic news", that "the two oil companies North and North Gas signed a contract with the Barham Company for hydrogenation and gasoline improvement in the province of Kirkuk with a capacity of 12 thousand barrels per day," noting that "the new project will rely on naphtha produced in Facebook Facebook logo Links on "Kirkuk Refinery.

"
For his part, the head of the "Barham" Shwaneh Aziz Saleh, said that "the signing of the contract with the North Oil and North Gas, comes to equip the North Gas Company with untreated natural gasoline, and for the project contract for the North Oil Company will be equipped with water and dry natural gas to operate "Electric Power Generation Unit".
