The head of the coalition of the "State of Law" Nuri al-Maliki, on Sunday, the head of the coalition "conquest" (umbrella parliamentary for the militia of the Popular Mobilization) Hadi al-Amiri.

A statement from al-Maliki's office, read by (Pasnius), said that "during the meeting discussed the latest political, security and economic developments locally and regionally."

He added, "The two sides stressed the unity of the national position in the face of challenges and the preservation of sovereignty and security and the country, and the need to activate the level of government performance and the primacy of national interest and focus all efforts to serve Iraq and its people," according to the statement.

The meeting between Maliki and Amiri comes amid a debate over how to deal with attacks on headquarters and warehouses belonging to Hashd militias, which the latter says Israel is responsible for.
