The Cabinet held its regular weekly meeting in Baghdad on Tuesday under the chairmanship of Prime Minister Adil Abd Al-Mahdi.

The Prime Minister and Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces briefed the Cabinet on the latest political and security developments, including the ongoing investigations into recent attacks on weapons depots in Iraq, and outlined plans by the government to deal with any future developments.

The Cabinet reviewed Iraq’s current grain-storage capacity and approved measures to expand it.

The Cabinet approved a draft memorandum of understanding between the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Iraq and the Ministries of Foreign Affairs of Sudan and Egypt to exempt diplomatic and special passport holders from entry visa requirements.
