Petrofac Chief Financial Officer Alistair Cochran said on Wednesday that the Oilfield Services Company was not aware of any official notification of suspension of its participation in new contract bids.

The director general of the Basra Oil Company, Ihsan Abdul-Jabbar, told reporters in London in June that Iraq had taken preventive action to freeze dealing with Petrofac on new bids.

Petrofac is under investigation by Britain's Serious Fraud Office after its former global sales director, David Lufkin, was convicted in February of 11 bribery charges linked to Iraqi and Saudi deals.
