Resumption of the Tajiat complex project in Kadhimiya

The Ministry of Construction, Housing and Public Municipalities has agreed with the company implementing the project (Tajiat) complex in the holy city of Kadhimiya to resume work on its project, which will provide nearly 1400 housing units.
Jaber al-Hassani, the undersecretary of the ministry for housing affairs, said in an interview published by the official newspaper Al-Sabah that it was seen by Al-Eqtisadiah. 2015 due to the company's non-compliance with the contractual procedures, in addition to the financial crisis experienced by the country and some of the administrative and legal problems that faced it and has therefore been suspended since that date.
He pointed out that "there are 500 citizens who have registered on the units of the project and paid money and they need to receive their units or return the amounts of installments they have paid," adding that "his ministry held several meetings with the company in order to study the creation of a mechanism to ensure the granting of registrants rights."
Al-Hassani noted that "the ministry agreed with the company to resume the work of 500 housing units for registered as a first stage, after which to resume the project fully with a mechanism to ensure the continuation of financing the project and not to stop again," pointing out that "the project did not achieve only 30 percent "The implementation of these units comes as a guarantee of the rights of those who are registered."
