UN report reveals the total wealth of ISIS terrorist
United Nations Secretary-General Antonio Guterres said in a report that the Islamic State terrorist organization has up to $ 300 million, after the loss of the so-called “caliphate” in Iraq and Syria, with no financial demands for control of territory and population.
The report, presented to the Security Council on the threat posed by the group on Monday, said the low frequency of attacks by the armed terrorist organization "may be temporary."
He said he believed ISIS was able to channel these funds to support "terrorist acts" inside Iraq, Syria and abroad using services such as informal money transfer companies.
It also promotes greater financial self-sufficiency through a network of supporters and affiliates elsewhere in the Middle East, Africa and Asia.
