The US embassy in Jordan confirmed that US $ 750 million of US $ 750 million of the total aid will be transferred before the end of this year.

The Jordanian government's budget will be transferred this year according to a timetable similar to the transfer made last year, the embassy's spokesman said on Wednesday.

Last December, Jordan received $ 745 million in aid.

According to Mangyes, "this year's aid" is part of the United States' firm commitment to Jordan, as set out in the February 2018 memorandum of understanding between the United States and Jordan that promised bilateral assistance at a minimum of $ 1.275 billion annually over five years Years, and a total of $ 6.375 billion starting from 2018 and ending in 2022.

"Over the past six decades, the United States and Jordan have worked side by side to improve economic and regional stability, strengthen democratic governance, and provide basic services to the people of this country," he said.
