DAMASCUS, (SANA) -Minister of Water Resources Jamal Al-Adli on Monday met US Ambassador to Iraq Matthew Toler to discuss joint strategic cooperation between the two countries in developing water resources in Iraq and guaranteeing their legitimate rights in shared waters with riparian countries.





The ministry's press office said in a statement received by Al-Ghad Press that "the ministry's staff were being discussed for maintenance and monitoring of the Mosul Dam after the contract with Italian company Trevi and the US Corps of Engineers.


"The two parties discussed the possibility of the ministry's engineering and technical staff to face the crises that have passed the country such as water scarcity and the risks of floods and floods and control and benefit from the strengthening of the strategic reserves of the country.
