Prime Minister Adel Abdul Mahdi said Wednesday that efforts are continuing to improve energy and increase the processing hours, pointing out the importance of cooperation with the company "GE" to develop and improve energy.

" Today, the Prime Minister received the CEO of GE Energy Joseph Anis and his accompanying delegation," Abdul Mahdi said in a statement received by Alsumaria News .

He stressed "the importance of the strategic partnership between the Iraqi government and General Electric to find comprehensive solutions to secure the electric power of citizens and benefit from modern technology and renewable energies," noting that " Iraq expands to global companies and investment opportunities available to the expertise and large companies to provide services to the Iraqi people in all areas and foremost electricity".

The Prime Minister pointed out "the importance of cooperation with GE to develop and improve energy."

For his part, the President of the General Electric Company briefed on the progress of work in the strategic projects implemented by the General Electric, including the linking of several secondary stations in various provinces of Iraq to help break the bottlenecks this summer and the next summer and the progress of work in the projects of Samawah and Dhi Qar and station project Zubair , along with the new projects under contract, which will increase the capacity of the network in Iraq by 3000 MW.

The statement added that "Joseph Anis reviewed the projects that are discussed under the roadmap for the development of electricity, which covers projects in all provinces of Iraq and provide training and work opportunities for citizens across the country."
