The Minister of Planning Nuri Sabah al-Dulaimi, on Sunday, the meeting of the ministerial committee to approve the investment plan for the province of Kirkuk, and grant the powers of ratification of the local government on ongoing projects and new in the province in coordination with the relevant authorities in the central government.

"The meeting was attended by the Minister of Industry and Minerals Saleh al-Jubouri, the head of the Financial Control Bureau, Salah Nuri, the Higher Coordination Committee between the provinces of Turhan Mufti, the Deputy Governor of Kirkuk, the Deputy Minister of Planning and a number of directors-general of the ministry "He said.

Al-Dulaimi said in a press conference after the meeting, "Through his chairmanship of this ministerial committee, he sought to overcome the difficulties and identify projects according to their priority and importance within a phased implementation plan and provide the necessary conditions for implementing all projects in the shortest possible time."

"The committee agreed during the meeting to complete the procedures during the coming week and to strive to provide the necessary working conditions in order to provide the best service to the citizens of the province." He stressed that "the importance of providing the local government for all project plans as soon as possible; Kirkuk, the provinces, the districts and the villages associated with them. "
