The head of a coalition of state law, Nuri al-Maliki, on Tuesday, Iraq's position calling for ending the tension in the region against the backdrop of the crisis between Iran and America, stressing the need to work to calm and remove the language of escalation and waving of force.

"The head of a coalition of state law, Nuri al-Maliki, met with his office today, the new US ambassador to Iraq  Matthew Toller, accompanied by the official of the file on Iraq and Iran at the State Department Andrew Beck.

" Iraq has close relations with the United States in various fields, " Maliki said, adding that "the importance of working to strengthen ties of bilateral relations in the interest of the two friendly peoples."

He reiterated that "the position of Iraq to end the tension in the region against the backdrop of the crisis between Iran and America, and the need to work to calm and remove the language of escalation and waving of force," stressing that "the use of military solution will lead to a disastrous war and the collapse of countries in the Middle East ."
