The Human Rights Committee held a meeting on Sunday, June 23, 2019 under the chairmanship of MP Qusay Abbas, Vice-Chairman of the Committee and the presence of its members to discuss a number of laws under the legislation and read reports of supervision. 
At the beginning of the meeting, MP Qusay Abbas presented a number of draft laws to inform the committee members, especially the laws of freedom of expression and refugees, in addition to amending the law of inmates and depositors, as well as the law of enforced disappearance. 
The meeting touched on the issue of the distribution of members of the Commission on Human Rights to the committees of friendship associated with Iraq. 
The Committee reviewed a report on the suffering of the Fili Kurds in Tehran following the visit of MP Jumaili, in addition to reading the recommendations of the Committee on the Central Women's Prison, and the recommendation of the Committee to separate the House of Reform from the Ministry of Justice.
