He added that "the ministry has worked on the development of the National Housing Policy for the years 2016 and 2016 for the years 2018 and 2022, as well as the preparation of the strategy of reconstruction of destroyed housing in the provinces The development of plans for the reduction and elimination of random housing and the establishment of the new cities project and the development of the road map of the national program to increase, maintain and control the housing stock in the country.

He pointed out that "there are several challenges in this area, most notably the continuing housing deficit of two million and 500 thousand units with a continuous increase in the rate of occupancy at the level of housing units and the difference in meeting the need between the provinces, as well as the disparity between rural and cities with the continuity of population growth and family fission, The aggravation of slums on the outskirts of cities and inside.
