A US trade delegation is scheduled to visit the city of Erbil, the capital of the Kurdistan Region, on Sunday and participate in several economic events.

"It is scheduled to arrive on Sunday, a US trade delegation to the Kurdistan Region through Erbil International Airport," said Iskandar Mohammed, spokesman for the Federation of Chambers of Commerce and Industry of the Kurdistan Region of Basneoz.

He explained that the delegation will sign tomorrow, immediately upon arrival at the Chamber of Commerce, a protocol of cooperation between the Federation of Chambers of Commerce and Industry of the Kurdistan Region, and the Federation of Chambers of Commerce in the United States of America.

He added «the delegation will visit a series of meetings with the parties concerned to see the reality of trade in Kurdistan, and discuss economic cooperation and the holding of bilateral meetings between the merchants of Kurdistan and America».

The spokesman of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Kurdistan, that the US delegation headed by Steve Oates, Vice President of the American Chamber of Commerce for the Middle East, and Andrew Beck, Deputy Secretary of State for US Affairs on Iraq and Iran, accompanied by statement Sami Abdul Rahman, representative of the Kurdistan Regional Government in the United States of America .
