The Iraqi oil marketing company (SOMO) has sold 1 million barrels of heavy Basra crude at a lower premium of 90 cents above the official sale price of crude, two commercial sources said on Thursday.

It was not yet possible to know which buyer would be charged between July 8 and 10.

Sumo sold heavy Basra crude for June delivery at $ 2.30 per barrel.
