This principle is practiced in all prestigious international companies, and the concept of these companies allocate an appropriate financial allocation of their profits to support the various community programs.
The pioneering experience of private banks through their contribution from the Tamkeen Fund, which is funded by their profits and which was established in cooperation with the Central Bank of Iraq and the Association of Iraqi Private Banks, is different in terms of objectives. The international companies use the support of community programs to create a competitive situation among them as companies in order to encourage States to adopt in the opportunities available to invest in them, and I will explain the difference between them and the Iraqi experience.
The Tamkeen Fund is managed by a joint committee between the two sides; the Central Bank and the Association, with high efficiency and transparency, and according to the latest international accounting systems, which manages the capital to the fullest and in accordance with the objectives set for the Fund.
The difference is in the application of the corporate responsibility of international companies to the leading Iraqi experience in that international companies allocate this financial allocation to serve the geographic location surrounding the project chosen for investment in another country.
The second objective is to attract and encourage the state to adopt these giant companies to obtain the investment opportunities available. It is the marketing of a project for companies and is one of the most prominent means of global competition for the acquisition of investment projects.
The Iraqi pioneering and unique experience, which is the creation of the private banking sector, seeks to achieve broader and broader objectives, not only to serve and develop the perimeter of the project specified within it, but extends across the country.
As well as the diversity of projects and initiatives included in the community initiatives and the various regions and segments, as it is a national contribution historic will be engraved deep in the history of Iraq as a position supported by the private banking sector in the reconstruction and development by them and intended private banks and will name the owners.
There are also dozens of different humanitarian projects that have been funded by this community fund, including support for children with cancer, orphans, schools, youth support, talent, support to Iraq's pioneers, culture, art and others.
Tamkeen Fund is the unique voluntary community development experience that will continue to have a significant impact in all cities of Iraq and will remain an indicator of the national spirit of the owners of banks and their role in the reconstruction and construction of Iraq.
