BAGHDAD (Reuters)

 - US Ambassador to Baghdad Matthew Toler said on Sunday that his country would not use its forces in Iraq to carry out any activity against neighboring countries, pointing out the reasons for imposing sanctions on Iraqi personalities and Hezbollah.
"US forces and their presence in Iraq is part of the international coalition, which came at the request of the Iraqi government," said Toller in an interview with a number of media outlets including Mawazin News. "We always hear from Iraqi leaders that we need to stay strong and "Noting that" his country has channels of communication with Iran and do not want another. "
"As long as the need continues, and as long as the Iraqi government keeps demanding this, I will always hear from security leaders that the need for an international coalition is continuing," he said.
"The United States has put the terrorists and Hezbollah on the terrorism list for its cooperation with terrorist organizations and the Revolutionary Guard," he said, noting that "sanctions on people are part of a congressional law that allows us to impose sanctions on any person in the world who acts on things that violate human rights or cause corruption in those countries. These powers have been used as many times as in Burma against some human rights violators. "
"The actions of the four people (Ryan Chaldean, Ahmed al-Jubouri, Nufal al-Aakoub and Qadu) undermine the security and stability of Iraq and the region, and I do not apologize or back down on such decisions, because these people are not entitled to deal in America financially and what we have done supports the strengthening of sovereignty in Iraq against Those who challenge the Iraqi government and components. "
