A report by the Center for Strategic Studies, Ghazi Faisal, reported on Saturday that a television report revealed the looting of Iran for 17 billion dollars of oil earned Majnoon east of Basra province.

Faisal said in a statement to the "news" that "at a time when the people of Basra from hunger, injustice and unemployment, Iran is looting 17 billion dollars from the field of oil Majnoon east of Basra."

"The odd thing is that no one from the government speaks or highlights the looting as if the issue does not concern them," he said.

He said that "oil smuggled from Basra, back to Iraq in the form of oil derivatives at international prices at a time when the people of Basra from hunger, poverty and injustice."
