Nineveh Governor Mansour al-Muradid announced on Thursday the reconstruction of the five bridges linking the left and right sides of Mosul, and completed them in a very short period.

Al-Maraid told Basnews that he discussed during the meeting with the Minister of Construction and Housing the reality of the bridges inside the city and agreed on a mechanism to complete reconstruction projects at full speed, pointing out that "the priority will be for the second bridge and the third and will be reconstructed within a short period."

"The foundation stone will be laid for the completion of the fourth and fifth bridges within a period not exceeding two weeks, where the approval of the World Bank has been obtained to fund the implementation of these projects," he added.
