"
"We are optimistic about signing Siemens and future with General Electric to develop the electric power sector, which has been suffering from a severe shortage since the 1990s, especially as the two companies have a great global reputation and capabilities and possibilities to help Iraq to restore the sector to where it was in the past" , Stressing "the importance of contracting with the two companies economically, security and politically."
"The minister, if he wants to develop the electricity sector in the country, has to deal with huge foreign companies even if the country is expensive," he said.
