Foreign Ministry: Iraq needs to appoint 70 ambassadors

The Foreign Affairs Committee on Monday, the need for Iraq to more than 70 ambassadors for appointment in a number of countries, indicating that it was agreed with the ministry to appoint half of the staff of the ministry and the second half through nominations of political blocs.
"The committee, through its meetings with the foreign minister, has reached the need of Iraq for 70 ambassadors to work in some countries," said Zafer Nazim, a member of the Foreign Relations Committee .
He added that the shortage in the number of ambassadors is due to the transfer of great to retirement and emptying others as well as the expansion of Iraq's foreign relations.
He explained that "an agreement has been reached with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs that the appointment of 35 ambassadors of the ministry's employees who are the degree of adviser or minister Plenipotentiary and other degrees," noting that "the agreement spent the appointment of 35 others through the nominations of political blocs and take into account the balance that the candidates within Conditions set by the Ministry "
