The Office of the Inspector-General of the Ministry of Interior revealed on Monday that there was a waste of public money in the purchase of spare parts for the Directorate's wheels valued at 88 million dinars.
The Office said in a statement read by "Economy News" that "the audit committee revealed a waste of public money in the purchase of spare materials for the wheels of the Directorate amounted to 88 million dinars."
He added that "the Committee revealed the existence of manipulation of the originals of materials purchased through the development of false marks and trade marks contrary to what was purchased and what was included in the arrival of the purchase."
The statement confirmed that "the investigative committee conducted the preliminary administrative investigation with the suspects in the case, and prepared a report submitted to the Inspector General, including the recommendation of the formation of an investigative board to identify the perpetrators of waste of public funds and counterfeiting in order to take legal and administrative procedures against them and bring them to justice.
