Economy News _ Baghdad

The border crossing authority announced on Monday the resumption of work at Al-Shaib port.
"The work in the port of Shib border in the province of Maysan resumed before the commercial movement between Iraq and Iran," the agency said in a statement received by "Economy News" a copy of it.
"The next few days are witnessing the resumption of work in the movement of passengers after completing some organizational matters between the two sides."
It is worth mentioning that the border crossing authorities had earlier confirmed the suspension of travel and trade between the two countries by the Iranian side in April because of floods that swept Iran earlier, and the closure was in order to protect the safety of passengers and traffic.
