(Reuters) - Scores of Iranian families, including officials, have entered Iraq recently in anticipation of a US strike, the UAE-funded Sky News Arabia reported on Saturday.

"Dozens of Iranian families, some of them officials, have been entering Iraq for the past two days and are settling in Kadhimiya and Karbala in anticipation of a possible American strike," the source said.

"The embassies of several foreign countries may follow the step of Washington and the evacuation of its non-essential personnel from Iraq."
