The governor of Diwaniyah province, Ghanim al-Jubouri, warned Saturday that surveillance cameras in the province should not be built after 30 billion dinars, as was the case in other governorates. He also called for planning the cameras before buying them to start immediately. .

Al-Jubouri told Basnews that "we are warning against the lack of surveillance cameras in the province after the purchase of 30 billion dinars, as happened in other provinces." He pointed out that "some provinces took the same step, but cameras were not installed for many years, Damaged as well as being of the old generation is the loss of funds of the province without justification ».

A member of the Diwaniyah Provincial Council said that "the concerned parties are invited to plan the installation of cameras before buying them to start immediately without finding justification to disrupt the operation." He stressed that "the surveillance cameras system has great benefits in terms of security and service, As well as saboteurs such as those who throw dirt or destroy public property ».

The deputy chairman of the Diwaniyah provincial council Haider al-Shammari has reported, on Saturday, the allocation of 30 billion dinars for the purchase and installation of security cameras in different areas of the province.
