[size=36]Halabousi calls on large Indian companies to invest in Iraq[/size]
BAGHDAD (Reuters) -
President of the House of Representatives Mohammed Halabousi on Wednesday urged Indian companies to invest in Iraq, during a meeting with Indian Ambassador to the country Pradip Singh Raj Boruhith.
According to the media office of Halaboussi, which received the Mawazine News, a copy of it, "During the meeting discussed bilateral relations between the two countries in all areas, including parliamentary relations."
The statement said that Halabousi stressed "the need to encourage large Indian companies to invest in Iraq in the areas of housing, technology and health," praising "the cooperation of the Indian government in granting visas to Iraqis."
The statement added that the Indian ambassador expressed in turn "his country's readiness to increase cooperation with Iraq, and praised the development of the democratic experiment in the country," expressing "
