Eight companies led the bourse index to rise 1.90% in the first session of the week.

The number of shares traded 224.3 million shares valued at 149.8 million dinars.

Shares of eight companies rose in today's session, led by shares of the Bank of Kurdistan by 5.77% and the shares of modern sewing by 3.48%.

The index was not losing companies, as it reached six companies, which offer shares of Bank of Baghdad by 4.00% and shares of Al-Mansour Pharmaceutical by 1.54%.

While non-Iraqi investors bought 1.9 million shares worth 1.2 million dinars after three deals were executed on three companies.

Commercial Bank shares topped the list with 62.3 million shares traded.
