The 17th Arab Business Community Forum, organized by the Arab Businessmen's Union, will begin in Beirut on Wednesday. 

The Forum will review the results of the Arab Summit at its thirtieth session held recently in Tunis, taking into account the current status of the Arab economy, particularly economic growth and important economic indicators such as inflation, unemployment, capital markets, trade, Arab investments and Arab indebtedness. 

The two-day forum will focus on the investment climate and opportunities, prospects for economic development in the Republic of Lebanon, the 4th industrial revolution, the next challenge for the Arab economy, and investment and reconstruction opportunities in Iraq.

The forum will also discuss small and medium-sized enterprises and venture capital as a catalyst for Arab economic development and the economic empowerment of Arab women as a cornerstone for comprehensive development. 

The President of the Federation Hamdi Al-Tabaa said that the forum is a continuation of the Union's efforts to contribute to the Arab economic development, to promote joint Arab economic cooperation, to promote economic integration and to strengthen its social responsibility through conferences and meetings. 
He pointed out that the forum aims at sustaining and renewing communication between Arab businessmen and meeting with them to discuss the latest developments in the Arab economy and confront the challenges facing the Arab private sector in cooperation with Arab governments. The private.

The forum is sponsored by Lebanese Prime Minister Saad Hariri and is being held for the third time in Beirut. He praised the facilities provided by the Lebanese side, especially the Lebanese Economic Forum, which is participating in the organization of the forum and is a gathering of businessmen and all economic sectors. The member of the Board of Directors of the Federation and Chairman of the Lebanese Economic Forum Rafik Zantout expressed the hope that the forum, which will be attended by a large number of Arab businessmen in addition to the bodies and unions working under The umbrella of the Arab League, an opportunity to discuss the challenges facing the Arab economy as well as to focus on the role of Arab women in economic activity and supporting their participation development.

The Amman-based Arab Businessmen's Union was established in 1997 to promote ties, cooperation and coordination between Arab businessmen from various economic sectors within the context of Arab economic integration.
