Somalia offered a tempting offer to Iraq.

"The Secretary-General of the Council of Ministers received the Charge d'Affaires of Somalia to discuss the mechanism of cooperation and benefit from the experience of Iraq in the war on terrorism," a statement issued by the Secretariat General of the Council of Ministers. 


He called on the charge d'affaires to "reopen the Iraqi embassy in Mogadishu, pledging to give Iraq a distinctive tourist site, in addition to activating trade, economic and security relations, given the possession of Somalia agricultural land, which make up about 80% of the total area of ​​the country." 


He also called for "the opening of Baghdad study missions for Somali students, and benefit from the scientific and historical heritage of Iraqi universities. 


For his part, the Secretary-General of the Council of Ministers Dr. Mahdi al-Alaq, Iraq's pride in its relationship with Somalia, and its support to strengthen its security and stability, after Somalia has been subjected to a terrorist attack similar to that suffered by Iraq in the past few years.
