Deputy: The law of the amendment of nationality is urgent and threatens to lose stabilit

MP Muhammad Iqbal al-Siddly criticized the paragraphs contained in the amendment of the Iraqi Nationality Law, considering it a major setback in the course of Iraqi laws that preserves the stability of the country.
"Iqbal said in a statement issued by his press office that the paragraphs included in the amendment of the law facilitated the granting of Iraqi nationality away from the points that the Iraqi legislator has taken care of over the past years to maintain its position, likely to result in large demographic changes due to the grants process is not studied or intended at times .
The pharmacist pointed out that the law guarantees the granting of citizenship to a person born in Iraq, even if the parent is not Iraqi, with reference to granting broad powers to the Minister of the Interior to grant citizenship other than the controls approved by the Iraqi customs, stressing that most of the major stable countries do not grant nationality to immigrants Legitimacy only after years of statement of direction and the adequacy of information about it.
The pharmacist also called on the cabinet to reconsider unnecessary decisions, which lead to confusion over the relative stability Iraq has reached with the blood of its youth heroes.
