172 refinery closed in Iraq

Economy News / Baghdad ..

A member of the oil and energy parliamentary committee, Uday Awad, announced the closure of 172 illegal refineries in northern Iraq, stressing that the proceeds continue to detect corruption and spoilers.
"The closure of 172 illegal refineries in the north is the first step to our victories over corruption and spoilers," Awad said in a statement to the Economist News Agency. "We have exposed the files of the northern oil theft, pointing out that the refineries that were closed were producing products that did not meet Iraqi specifications.
He added that these refineries were part of the corruption deals of Car and Qian, which revealed the files of corruption, "pointing out that" our prayers against corruption and spoilers continue and still at the beginning of the road.
