The Ministry of Electricity announced on Thursday the signing of a contract with the German company Siemens to rehabilitate Kirkuk gas station. 
The ministry said in a statement received by the "Economy News" a copy of it, that "a contract was signed today with the German company, the ministry represented by the General Company for the production of electric power in the northern region, to rehabilitate the unit (K3) (MW). 
"This was in accordance with the memorandum of understanding between the Ministry of Electricity and Siemens of Germany in October last year," she said. 
"The signing was attended by Undersecretary for Production Affairs, Acer Habib. The ministry represented the director general of the northern production company Walid Khaled, and Siemens, Ahmed Burhan." The contract included the provision of a service conversion capacity of 13 MVI ), Circuit breaker boxes, power collector, and cable connection (6 kV) ".
