The head of Iraq Reconstruction Fund, Mustafa al-Hitti, on Thursday, the additional loan to complete projects in the affected areas amounted to 400 million dollars, noting that 85% of the projects were completed the general budget.

" 

He added that "among the water crises because Ramadi was damaged by the bombing of ten gates of them," pointing out that "the Ramadi project reached 80% completion." 

He pointed out that "there are a number of projects financed from loans and grants, including the World Bank loan, the first 350 million dollars was completed in full and we asked for additional loans to complete the rest of the projects and started it," adding that "the additional loan of 400 million dollars to complete projects in the affected areas."

"We have a German development loan of 500 million dollars, and the first phase of the project worth 135 million dollars, which includes electricity and municipal sectors have been contracted and some mechanisms shipped to the province of Nineveh," noting that "there is a focus on the province of Nineveh because the damage is very large." 

"The year 2019 will be the year of the Emaar revolt in the affected areas," he said. "The number of displaced people was six million and now there are 750,000 in the camps and their return is political, not reconstruction." 

He pointed out that "the process of counting the damage to housing there are 147 thousand housing units affected by the terrorist operations, the most partially affected 59%, including the middle and poor classes and this damage exists in rural areas more than urban areas, noting that" the Reconstruction Fund of Iraq dealt with the competent authorities to develop mechanisms For the reconstruction of cities and housing and put an amount within the budget. "
