The Syrian ambassador in Iraq, the mechanism of opening the port of Husaybah, the link between Iraq and Syria south of the Euphrates river.
A statement by the Ministry of Defense; "Assistant to the Chief of Staff of the Operations Operations, Deputy Commander of Joint Operations Lieutenant General Abdul Amir Yarallah, received the Syrian Ambassador in Iraq Sattam Jadan Dandah, during the meeting discussed and discussed military operations in eastern Syria.
He also discussed "the mechanism of opening the port of Husaybah, the link between Iraq and Syria south of the Euphrates River, as well as discussing the prospects for cooperation and joint coordination and security developments between the two neighboring countries."
The statement pointed out that "the Syrian ambassador thanked and appreciated the hospitality and reception," praising the positions of Iraq's governments and the army and people to stand with Syria and provide all forms of support and assistance at all levels.
