BAGHDAD / 

The chief of staff of the army, General Othman al-Ghanmi and the NATO mission headed by their top commander General Curtis and NATO chief General Stuart Beg, signed a memorandum of cooperation to develop the capabilities of the Iraqi army.



"In order to develop teaching methods, gain experience and develop infrastructure in educational and training institutions and reflect on the development of the capabilities of the Iraqi army, the National Defense University hosted on Tuesday a memorandum of cooperation between the Iraqi side, which represented him," the Defense Ministry said in a statement. And the NATO mission, like Stuart Begg. " 

He added that "the two sides welcomed this start, which establishes the new stages of advanced joint work, which will be circulated later on the schools Alsnouf and Iraqi army formations, especially that the alliance has considerable experience by (29) countries to develop educational and training institutions and improve their reality.

Prime Minister and Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, Adel Abdul-Mahdi, on Tuesday, to NATO President that Iraq is living a stage of stability requires the development of security capabilities and intelligence effort.
