The head of the House of Representatives, Mohamed Halboussi, met in London on Monday with Middle East envoy and deputy national security adviser and the prime minister's adviser on security and counter-terrorism, Christian Turner. 
Al-Halboussi said in a statement issued by his office during the meeting that Iraq is keen to strengthen its relations with Arab and regional countries and the international community in accordance with the principle of common interests and respect for mutual sovereignty and non-interference in internal affairs, indicating that Iraq does not want to be a scene of conflicts, To become the meeting point of everyone. 
The President of the House of Representatives that Iraq has won his fight against terrorism, which was not achieved without the unity of Iraq and the Iraqis and support his friends, and must be continued support; to eliminate extremist thought.
He called on Halabousi to support Iraq and its reconstruction through the reconstruction and participation of British companies in this area, and the return of displaced people, as well as intelligence support and training of Iraqi forces and work to restore stability to cities, pointing out that a stable Iraq will contribute to the stability of the region. 
For his part, Turner reiterated his country's support for Iraq and the commitment to stand by him in the face of security and economic challenges and reconstruction efforts.
