Baghdad:

The parliamentary solution bloc announced on Sunday that the responsibility of determining the survival or departure of foreign troops from Iraq is borne by the federal government at various levels.

The bloc said in a statement received by the 'news' that Iraq's supreme interest requires the framing of joint work with neighboring countries and the major international powers in a way that guarantees Iraq's sovereign right and interests away from the politics of axes and polarizations.

And stressed that the 'fateful decisions should be built according to a vision and a national commitment and wise strategic horizon away from the emotions and accounts of narrow interests and do not reflect the negative on the Iraqi people, recalling the political forces implications of the decision to withdraw foreign troops by the end of 2011 and the consequent control of the forces of international terrorism And the aftermath of the international embargo imposed on the people of Iraq in the early 1990s and the resulting hunger, disease and migration of millions of Iraqis. It is the duty of the Government to prevent the justification of its occurrence with all its political and diplomatic efforts, especially as serious threats have been made in this regard coinciding with the end of the United States exemption period for Iraq.

The parliamentary solution bloc launched its initiative to authorize the parliament to the federal government and its relevant institutions to determine the likelihood of the decision to cancel or amend the security agreements or to schedule the withdrawal of foreign forces in a way that guarantees the supreme interest of Iraq only and preserves the sovereignty of his decision.
