The parliamentary bloc, which is part of the Fatah alliance, on Saturday, revealed the existence of a parliamentary movement - the government, to strengthen the sovereignty of Iraq, during the next stage.

"We have a parliamentary and a government movement to strengthen the status of Iraqi sovereignty. We respect the state, and the state must also respect the sovereignty of Iraq," said bloc spokesman Walid al-Sahlani.

Al-Sahlani stressed that "Iraq is governed by the electoral fund and voter selection, and the state must know that well. We are a country with full sovereignty, and we will not accept or accept any foreign dictates, whatever."

Iraqi political blocs close to Iran are trying to exploit the sudden announcement by President Donald Trump of withdrawing his troops from Syria to renew the demand for a timetable for the withdrawal of foreign troops, primarily from Iraq, amid fears of other political parties and citizens of increasing Iranian influence. Final of the country, according to observers.
