BAGHDAD (Reuters) -

Deputy commander of joint operations Abdul Amir Yarallah on Friday stressed the importance of the league played by the international coalition led by the United States in Iraq, pointing out that the coalition supported Iraq during the war on a supporter of about 11 billion dollars.
"The coalition forces play important and pivotal roles in all directions, whether the economic and logistical support which amounted to nearly 11 billion dollars during the war years on the Daash, or the operational and intelligence and technical advice provided by the leaders of the coalition to lead the joint operations of Iraq ' .
He added that 'we must recognize that the American side was more than 80% of the roles, in addition to the air support and artillery, and the training file where the international coalition forces trained more than 54 brigades of the Iraqi armed forces during the past years, The bases are located in the bases of Ain al-Assad, Habbaniyah and Qayara camps as combat support forces, in phosphate camps, in Bir al-Mursera, in artillery camps, in the Taji and Basmaya camps as training, rehabilitation and development forces. J and technical, and in the base country to provide training, rehabilitation, maintenance and operation of the Iraqi Air Force, and k1 base in Kirkuk, they are assigned to the joint intelligence and special operations with the Iraqi counter-terrorist forces. "
"I need to confirm that a decision can be made to reduce the number of foreign armed forces in Iraq, but it is not in Iraq's interest to reduce the roles of the International Military and Logistics Alliance in Iraq in the coming years. The coalition has offered all possible means, and harnessed all the tools to serve and develop the army, and the results of this support and training, whether the Americans or other international efforts what is achieved on the ground.
