In what observers saw as the beginning of a new phase of foreign presence in Iraq, even in the form of investments on the ground, the International Alliance Against Terrorism said that new contributions were pumped for Iraq.

According to the official website of the International Coalition Against Terrorism in Iraq, in a tweet on the social networking site Twitter Monday 21 January 2019, the UAE donated half a billion dollars in return for contributing to the reconstruction of Iraq.

The coalition also drew the US $ 5 billion and $ 2.5 billion in private investments in Iraq, without giving details of the investments.

As it comes at a time of escalating political campaigns of the Iraqi blocs close to Iran against the American presence.

In return, Washington will not allow its troops to be evacuated from a country that may experience tensions at any moment and invest billions of dollars in it because the military presence of its forces guarantees these investments as well as the revenues expected from them.

As well as that the declaration of the International Alliance, a military entity for those investments and contributions in Iraq, hints that there is no intention of military withdrawal from Iraqi territory internationally for members of the coalition and not only America.
